Everyone have a good holiday weekend?

Me?
Well let's see.
Went over to mom's christmas morning, did a little family breakfast/brunch kinda thang. Opened and handed out soem gifts (got some things I really wanted and pretty much seemed like my mom and sister were happy with what I got them.
Went home and played with some of my new stuff, watched some hops and then onto Da bears game.

2005 NFC Norris Division (otherwise known as the NFC North) Champions and we have a first round Bye in the playoffs. (I asked Santa for that, Thanks Santa [img]wink.gif[/img] )

Went to the movies and that's about it.

How about everyone else?

Christmas Eve I went to a friend's house and exchanged gifts. Then I went to a smokey bar around 11:15, had a couple beers, then went to Midnight Mass. Walked home from mass, turned on the tv, watched three episodes of Roseanne (the newer episodes really sucked) until 2:30 am.

Got up around 9:30 Christmas morning and went to another friend's house for a Christmas buffet/drinking party around 11am. Yes, I had two rum and cokes with my goetta and quiche. Left around 1pm as the party started to go downhill. Took a quick nap, gathered gifts, loaded up the car and went to spend the rest of the day with family. That night had a couple more beers at a local bar, met up with friends.

Normally I don't drink much, but it really helped things this year.

My brother and I spent Christmas Eve at the beach and then dinner and then the park for the light display. Christmas Day was nice enough (actually nicer than Christmas Eve) to soak up some rays. Then Christmas Dinner with a neighbor and her son. (single mom and 12 yr old son from Germany, really nice folks) She insisted I bring Bandit too so he wouldn't be lonely at home and so that I wouldn't leave early so he wouldn't be alone. (She knows me pretty well!) and then we played some board games for a few hours. Yesterday the north wind kept getting colder and colder so I stayed home and didn't go to the beach as originally planned. Supposed to be better weather this weekend so I hope it is. Overall it was a very low-key weekend/holiday.
